"When I wake up in the morning there is nothing I would rather be wrapped in than an inspired piece of cashmere and my children's hugs and kisses! - xoxo Claire
Born out of the School of Abstract Expressionism at Bennington College, Claire Florence moved to New York City as a painter, lived in Soho and Paris, and soon fell in love with the fashion culture of NYC. She became a consultant to many big firms like Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, and Cotton Incorporated. Claire was a secret on Seventh Avenue, and her studio in Nolita was frequented by clients such as Annick Goutal, Julia Roberts, Minnie Driver, and many other celebrities, for whom she custom designed one-of-a kind sculptural pieces out of cashmere, detailed with fur and other chic bits. The studio was featured in Vogue, Elle, Allure, and Marie Claire. Each one of her creations is a work of art.
The line is sold exclusively through private social events and the ClaireFlorence.com website. It has been an instant success because, as Claire says, “The key to my success is knowing my clientele. They are my friends."
